THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a lean, entrepreneurial investment team focused on long-term partnerships with growth-oriented businesses in the DACH region. We combine high standards and ambition with an open, collaborative culture that values initiative, mutual support, sound judgement and personal responsibility.
As an Investment Intern, you will work closely with senior professionals and gain hands-on exposure across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and due diligence to transaction execution, portfolio value creation and exit preparation. You will be expected to develop your own perspective and contribute to investment discussions.
WHAT THE JOB INVOLVES
- Involvement in the whole private equity deal cycle: From active sourcing to deal execution and portfolio supervision, working directly with senior investment professionals and entrepreneurs
- Sourcing of potential target companies through industry/sector analysis
- Analyse commercial, financial and strategic aspects of opportunities and prepare materials for investment committee discussions
- Support value creation initiatives for existing investments
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Entrepreneurial, ambitious and dynamic personality with a genuine passion for mid-market investing
- Intellectually curious team player, with strong interpersonal skills and a clear drive to take ownership
- Outstanding academic background, min. 5th semester Bachelor
- Previous internships in top-tier investment banking, strategy consulting, or an institutional PE environment
- Native-level German and fluent English are essential
