Founders Associate Intern (Strategy & Expansion)
Redefining the Architecture of Health
Massage is one of the oldest forms of healing. At newsoul, we are finally giving it the modern, premium stage it deserves. By merging high-end architectural design with data-driven operations and a radical focus on customer experience, we are building more than just studios; we are building a new category of Integrated Health.
Are you tired of "PowerPoint-only" internships? Do you want to see the physical impact of your strategic decisions from the blueprint to the first customer?
As a Founders Associate Intern (Strategy & Expansion), you will serve as the direct right hand to the Chief of Staff and work directly with the founders. You will navigate the intersection of high-stakes capital raises, strategic market scaling, and the hands-on reality of premium physical roll-outs. Your mission is to help us translate our brand’s DNA into new spaces while ensuring operational excellence across every square meter.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic Expansion Engineering: You identify and evaluate the next frontiers for newsoul. You analyze urban trends and success metrics to draft high-stakes investment memos that define our future footprint.
- Operational Ownership: You’ll be the first to be updated on construction progress. You don’t just observe; you shape decision-making on-site to ensure the physical results meet your and our joint premium standards.
- Board-Level Impact: You prepare and support high-level presentations for our board of directors and investors. Your analytical work and synthesized insights directly influence our strategic roadmap and executive decisions.
- Fundraising & Capital Strategy: You play a vital role in our capital raises. You assist in crafting the equity story, preparing financial models, and managing the due diligence process to secure resources for our rapid scaling.
- Supplier & Partner Ecosystem: You architect our network of premium suppliers and specialized contractors, negotiating terms that balance uncompromising quality with a scalable cost structure.
Your Profile
- Analytical Merit & Track Record: You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree or are in the later stages of your Bachelor’s program. You possess a stellar academic background in Business, Economics, Engineering, or other relevant fields and have gathered initial professional experience in a high-pace environment (e.g., consulting, VC, or top-tier startups).
- AI-First Mindset: You actively work with the latest AI tools and default to them first when solving problems. Before reaching for a traditional solution, you ask how Claude, and other frontier AI tools can get you there faster and better. You don’t just use AI — you think with it.
- Precision Communication: You can switch fluently between German and English to provide technical on-site briefings and lead board-level strategic discussions in our HQ.
- Operational Grit: You are a "hands-on" personality who finds as much joy in a perfectly organized project timeline site as in a clean spreadsheet.
- Relentless Ownership: You don't wait for instructions. You see a bottleneck, whether it's a supplier delay or a data gap, and you move proactively to solve it.
- Strategic Foresight: You have the instinctive ability to turn raw data into actionable insights and enjoy translating complex, ambiguous problems into clear operational solutions.
- Resilient Adaptability: You thrive in the ambiguity of an early-stage company and remain calm and solution-oriented when project variables shift.
