Business Intelligence Analyst (m/f/d) - Global Private Equity Fund

HQ Capital’s Reporting Team is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst based in the Bad Homburg office. The position will support the development of dynamic reporting solutions to capture and analyze the activity and performance of private equity fund of funds as well as their underlying investments. The successful candidate will have the capacity to work seamlessly with other HQ Capital teams including, IT, Fund Accounting, Investor Relations and Investment Teams.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and test new reports and features in Business Intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBI) 
  Support HQ Capital’s efforts to automate quarterly reports and data requests
  Data consistency checks against financial statements of underlying funds and investments Effectively communicate with different stakeholders to understand data needs and to build informative reports and analytics

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree that combined business or finance with computer sciences such as Information Systems or Business Informatics
  Practical experience in data processing and analytics, ideally in financial services or corporate finance context
  Detail oriented with ability to multi-task, prioritize and follow projects through to completion
  Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of the organization
  Strong analytical skills
  High proficiency in Excel
  Power BI knowledge is a strong plus
  Experience with accounting software is a plus
  Fluent in English and German
