You have just finished your Master's degree? Apply for our BI DISCOVER trainee program. During the program you will rotate through many departments and be involved in projects. We will provide you with a senior manager as a mentor - who will support you in your development. 

From day 1 you are part of BI DISCOVER, our cross-functional trainee community. You and your trainee colleagues take part in training sessions (such as negotiation management, change management), leadership talks and much more. And after work? Seize this opportunity: Your application is the first step in our multi-stage selection process. This is followed by a virtual initial interview and finally an assessment center in July/August, in which we can determine whether we are a good match, so that you can start your career with us around September 2023.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Our mission in Supply Chain Management is to provide patients worldwide with innovative medicines - today and in the future. You will strengthen our teams in different areas and due to rotation gain valuable insights into the entire global value chain of Boehringer Ingelheim.
• With the support of your mentors and experienced colleagues, you will dive deep into our daily business and not only participate in projects - as you gain experience, you will also lead projects on your own.
• In this context, you will work together with your colleagues on the analysis and optimization of information and material flows to constantly improve our supply chain efficiency.
• Do you want to work internationally? Whether it's global projects, management discussions or "classic" activities, you'll always be working in close contact with interfaces from the various global business units and therefore be able to build a network with colleagues from all over the world.
• For your personal and professional development, you will take part in interdisciplinary and competence-based training courses as well as communication trainings.
• At the end of your trainee period, you will be well prepared for the challenges in supply chain management - together we will then decide which position your path will lead you to.

Requirements

• You have a Master’s degree in Business Administration/ Economics with a focus on Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Data Science, or alternatively a Master's degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or comparable
• You are enthusiastic about topics related to Supply Chain Management and the challenges of digitalization
• It is a plus to already have knowledge in the area of data analytics or experience in the process industry FMCG / Life Science or SAP
• You score with intercultural competences and enjoy achieving impressive results together with others. Therefore, you use your fluent language skills in English, German language skills are a plus.
• Your analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a high willingness to learn and self-initiative distinguish you
• It is equally important that you fit in with us personally: You are communicative, committed and like to take responsibility
